Copy paste issue

@Messiaindarain: Hello, the bot is correct, in that you have copied content directly from http://www.ebanglapedia.com/en/M_0213.HTM which is copyrighted according to that page. Copyrighted material is not allowed in Wikipedia articles, even if you plan to remove it later. Every time you hit the "save" button to save a page, you are agreeing to Wikipedia's Terms of Use, which include the prohibition on copyrighted material. Please remove the copied material from the article to prevent it from being deleted as a copyright violation. Thanks, Crow^Caw 18:52, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Wiki mirror at chordie.com needs excluding

A cut and paste move of Sinch to Sinch (band) got flagged as a copyvio of chordie.com which contains a mirror of the original wiki page. Thanks, Bazj (talk) 09:15, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

• Hi Basj, yes chordie uses content from hereon artist pages, but they also have a fair amount of other content to which they claim copyright, so excluding the entire site is probably not good. The bot never takes action when it discovers these things though, always leaving it to a human to make the call, and we get lots of these per day. A quick explanation like the one you left here is usually all it takes to close the alert as a false-positive. Crow^Caw 19:23, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

New page tagged as possible copyvio of itself

Hi! Not sure if this is a known bug, but CorenSearchBot tagged Ectomomyrmex as being a possible copyvio of ectomomyrmex? jonkerz ♠talk 19:10, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Rosiestep

Hi, any chance you can edit your corenbot to exclude spamming Rosiestep with copyvio messages and tagging her articles? She does a great deal of good work with PD material and it is very annoying to be given a spam message by your bot as if she's violating something.♦ Dr. Blofeld 07:44, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

• Hi Dr. Blofeld (may I call you Ernst?): I'm not sure where Coren is at these days, but there is a provision to exclude users if the bot warnings become troublesome. It looks like she's only received one such in a couple of years, though. Crow^Caw 23:15, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
