Bukharan Jews
[edit]Please read WP:Five pillars and refrain from deleting sourced material and replacing it with WP:OR. Before further editing that page, you should familiarize yourself with the Talk page discussions and the various sources available for perusal online.--Ubikwit 連絡 見学/迷惑 14:46, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- I did write on your talk page, which you did not reply to. It's in the "Bukharian Jews" section. Lets continue our conversation there. My main problem is that you are referring to the Russian Jewish influx to Central Asia as if they joined the Bukharian community, which is so far from reality. Russian Jews do NOT share the same traditions, culture, or history with Bukharian Jews. What you say can be very offensive not just to Bukharians, but also to Russian Jews who do not like to be referred to as Bukharians. If you knew anything about it, you would know about the conflict that exists between Russian Ashkenazis and Bukharian Jews, but you don't! Coolforschool (talk) 01:15, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- You are now engaging in an edit war in relation to material that was recently the subject of a content dspute causing the article to be put under full protection and resulting in an thread at AN/I as well as RS/N here. I requested that you take the discussion to the article Talk page, but you have refused to do that, and the statements you are attempting to insert into the article are either not supported by the sources or lack sourcing.
- Even if what you say has merit for the article, you must find English language sources that WP:V verifiably support statement you add.
- If you revert the passages at issue again without discussing sources and content on the article Talk page again you will be reported at the WP:EW board. --Ubikwit 連絡 見学/迷惑 05:17, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- I've added a couple of passages--in the form of quotes--from the NYT article that reflect some of your concerns. Please take a look, and continue this discussion on the article Talk page.--Ubikwit 連絡 見学/迷惑 07:06, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Edit war on Bukharan Jews
[edit]Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on Bukharan Jews .
While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and edit wars may be slow-moving, spanning weeks or months. Edit wars are not limited to 24 hours.
If you are unclear how to resolve a content dispute, please see dispute resolution. You are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus.
If you feel your edits might qualify as one of the small list of exceptions, please apply them with caution and ensure that anyone looking at your edits will come to the same conclusion. If you are uncertain, seek clarification before continuing. Quite a few editors have found themselves blocked for misunderstanding and/or misapplying these exceptions. Often times, requesting page protection or a sockppuppet investigation is a much better course of action.
Continued edit warring on Bukharan Jews or any other article may cause you to be blocked without further notice. Toddst1 (talk) 19:51, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Toddst1 (talk) 13:04, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
