Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Adam Straith, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 01:00, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Adam Straith
[edit]An editor has nominated Adam Straith, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Straith and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:59, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Transwiki to a more suitable site
[edit]As your article is currently under review for deletion, you may wish to consider transferring it to Wikipopuli, a wiki that hosts biographical articles and does not impose a notability requirement. Best, TheYellowCabin (talk) 04:42, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
The article Leigh stickle has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 04:19, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Adam Straith was deleted as a repost; see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Straith. Don't repost it again. NawlinWiki (talk) 04:20, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, amateur and youth players aren't considered notable per Wikipedia guidelines, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Notability. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:51, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
