Does that look better? --Andreas Hausberger 14:29, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I smoothed it out a bit and put in some questions where more info would be helpful. The article will need more footnotes to source material to pass English wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons, the one source in the English article is a good start, but more are needed. If you can find the sources, I can get them formatted properly. Montanabw(talk) 23:10, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- I hope it's not too confusing right now :-| --Andreas Hausberger 20:47, 8 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Conversano Isabella (talk • contribs)
- I've seen worse, and from native English speakers! Montanabw(talk) 23:34, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's time to release the article, don't you think so? --Andreas Hausberger 14:53, 12 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Conversano Isabella (talk • contribs)

- Text is fine, but the footnotes need work. We have to do a little more citation work on this article than we did on the others because this is the biography of a person that is still living (BLP). While the list of references at the bottom is kind of OK, for a BLP it is barely OK. To avoid trouble, we should try to footnote at least each paragraph to the source of the material. I'll do some of the easy ones, but you may have to dig up things like the page number of the hardcopy book that appears to be one of the sources. We also need all the citation stuff, publisher, date, etc...If it feels like you are back to doing a college term paper yes, it IS like doing a college term paper...at least the ones I had to do. I can do the formatting if you can put the right source to the right place. I'll put a {{fact}} tag every place that I think a footnote is needed. I know, it's a pain in the ass, but necessary. :-P Montanabw(talk) 18:23, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

- I'll run it through the Google mill and see if I can make enough sense out of it to get it formatted properly as a citation. Thanks! Oh, and I see you've discovered Userboxes! ;-) Beware, they are addictive (I think I have about 30 on my user page... =:-O ) Montanabw(talk) 04:36, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
OK, plugged that Dieter Ludwig site into every spot where it looked like the article verified the info. I'm now running the "Pferde Revue" piece to see if I can get more there. I think the bit on the Hungarian front is in that one. Basically, we need to source stuff like previous marriages and military service pretty closely, as those are the things that might get someone upset (think kids or ex-wife...) Also, because he served in the German military during WWII, we have to be extra careful in handling that information. But I think it's about ready to go into the existing article as a rewrite. It probably can go now even though we need to do a wee bit more footnoting. Montanabw(talk) 05:22, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- After letting it sit a bit, I took the article live in the Georg Wahl space. It still could use a couple citations, but the problems are minor. Worst case scenario, someone will whine that there's no sources for the info that he was married twice and was an equestrian wonderkind at the SRS. And then you can scramble for the source to footnote it later! ;-) Montanabw(talk) 19:04, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

- Do you think I should keep or delete the "Wahl-Sandbox"?--Andreas Hausberger 20:10, 17 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Conversano Isabella (talk • contribs)

- Up to you, it's your very own sandbox! Because it has a generic name, I'd just blank it (unless you want to store that version, but there is really no need because the edit history is preserved anyway) and use it for your next project. The others you can move and rename as "Sandbox2," :Sandbox3" or whatever when the current projects in them are done. Montanabw(talk) 03:33, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
