Colombia
[edit]I have taken your arguments into consideration and have seeked a middle ground. I fixed and cleaned up all the edits I did. I have left the updated graph but I have updated to percentages back to the original census figures. I find this graph much more aesthetically pleasing. I have also removed the Juanes and Shakira pics from the music section. I however left the Carnaval information because it is very much a HUGE part of Colombian musical culture that needs to be on the page. The Carnaval De Barranquilla is the worlds second biggest festival after the Rio de Janeiro Carnaval in Brazil. That warrants it being there. I have also removed the sancocho picture and left the Bandeja Paisa because the Bandeja Paisa is much more traditional, popular, and unique to Colombia than sancocho is. Let me know if you have any questions. I have Colombian heritage and I travel there consistently throughout the year so if you have any questions feel free to ask.--SeminoleNation (talk) 18:26, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
- 1. (Bandeja Paisa). This food represents the paisa culture. Sancocho is consumed in all departments
- 2. According to the 2005 Census 86% of Colombians do not identify with any ethnic group, thus being either White or Mestizo, which are not categorized separately. http://www.dane.gov.co/files/censo2005/etnia/sys/visibilidad_estadistica_etnicos.pdf
- Ethnic groups: mestizo and white 84.2%, Afro-Colombian (includes multatto, Raizal, and Palenquero) 10.4%, Amerindian 3.4%, Roma <.01, unspecified 2.1% (2005 est.) https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/co.html - According to international agencies like the CIA
- 3. Carnaval De Barranquilla - see: Festivals in Colombia
- Culture
- Main article: Culture of Colombia

- There are many images in this article. Four images in this section (music) is already overkill. --ControlCorV (talk) 20:18, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hi ControlCorV, please note that, save for a few exceptions, editors are all allowed to blank content from their own talk pages. Please don't revert those who do so. Thank you, --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:10, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
Colombia page
[edit]I honestly got tired of going back and forth with you. There's obviously not getting through to you so go ahead with the page. I like that you care this much so I respect that. I'll be watching though. Have a good day--SeminoleNation (talk) 20:41, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
Colombia page
[edit]Unfortunately, I am seeing very few progress from our discussion in the talk page. It is a shame because what we are discussing is just about two or three paragraphs and, also, you seem to be a good Wikipedian who knows good sources. I will be watching the page but I do not have time to engage in unproductive debate anymore. Hope we both learned from this, don't let this become a pattern with other editors. Bye --Forich (talk) 21:26, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
Third opinion post
[edit]I notify you that I requested a third opinion on the debate of the undue weight of the infrastructure section of the article "Colombia". --Forich (talk) 11:20, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of cities by murder rate, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page San Juan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
