Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! — Diannaa (talk) 12:17, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Contribuidorconta! Your additions to São Paulo have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:18, 19 March 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
- Appeal: I understood this copyright law for the first time, I understood the explanation given by the user Moneytrees. I thought that putting the site as a reference was essential and showed who had produced a certain number of sentences or a text, leading users to the owner's website. But, now I fully understand that this is outside the parameters and against the current copyright law and that Wikipedia follows, I have two and a half years living here and I discovered the function of this legal rule. I promise not to disrespect this rule anymore. I await your reply. Contribuidorconta (talk) 03:00, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You will not be unblocked while evading your block by creating new accounts, as you have with AmericanSkyEagle. SQLQuery Me! 06:18, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
All content you add to Wikipedia must be written in your own words. You have received 1 2 3 4 5 warnings for copyright violations and unattributed copies. Today you copied content from https://www.chimuadventures.com/blog/2016/10/brazil-food-and-drinks and https://www.natalriograndedonorte.com/brazilian-drinks/ into Brazilian cuisine, which I've now removed. If you want to be unblocked, you must demonstrate a better understanding of copyright and commit to no longer copying from sources. Moneytrees🏝️Talk 19:11, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

I made many improvements to the article and did not understand this message. 107.115.147.131 (talk) 20:58, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
If you want to be unblocked, please write an appeal using the above unblock template. You should also log in when doing so... Moneytrees🏝️Talk
That's understandable and a common misconception (that it's ok to copy from a source if it's cited), I am inclined to unblock. Could you show what your writing would look like now that you know that you cannot copy from sources? I have a rewrite page at User:Moneytrees/Rewrite page 1 that you can edit, you can write a short paragraph with a source about whatever you want there. If what you write there is not copied from the source/closely phrased to it, it would give me greater assurance in unblocking you. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 21:59, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

- You keep on copy and pasting your appeal instead of adding anything to it. Since you were blocked for copy and pasting stuff into article, I would recommend you stop doing this and respond with something new instead of repeating yourself. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 22:07, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- ...you responded to this by copy and pasting the same response 33 times. Either you are messing with me or you are sorely misunderstanding what am I asking of you. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 22:26, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
