This italic text was once a generic (although kind hearted, I s'pose) welcome message that was adding to the talk page's clutter. The user who posted that message has his signature right.... here.... Zzyzx11 | Talk 23:24, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi. I've contributed for awhile, mostly typo fixes, vandalism fixing, newbie test fixing, that sort of thing. There have been a few other, more substantial things as well. I just got past my lazyness and decided to register. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 23:33, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi there. :) I'm a big fan of these wacky collaberative things. Being able to fix typos and grammar errors at will is unbelievably cool. I never just have to sit there and look at a misplaced possessive "its" again! (well, not here, anyway.) Myrkabah 02:41, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Sitting on the [Live Recent Changes] thing when rather bored and trying to nab vandalism, etc., as quickly as possible is entertaining. Heh, I've gotten into some neat articles (and debates) monitoring that as well. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 05:56, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Well, hello. Good to see you're fighting vandals - it's a favorite pastime of mine as well. — Dan | Talk 02:53, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
Where is the sandbox?
Oh my gosh, sorry. I didn't know there was a special sandbox area; I'll use the uncyclopedia. Sorry to be a burden...
This is user RastNim - I have no idea how else to contact you and if I am doing the wrong thing here but anyway. I am just saying hello and that I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan and so hope to add some of my own knowledge to the site. I am new so and only just getting to know the ins and outs of Wiki, I have been using it for years but never really was aware of the editing facilities. Thanks for clearing up after me :P RastNim 02:52, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Ah ha I do believe I ahve found the correct place now :D Whoops!
What test are you saying I made? All my edits are in good faith and not meant to be vandalism. 158.143.162.119 02:46, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- Never mind. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 02:48, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Brux
I have no idea what the tilda's are used for. I guess I'll find out shortly. As for copyright violations, where were you 3 days when I first signed on to wiki? Why am I being hit now 4 days later by all the admin's after I thought I was doing everything right? Don't you guys mentor new users? Anyway thanks. -- Brux 20:53 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Mexican jumping beans
Sure, looks much better this way. Thanks! — Sebastian (Please reply here, I'll watch this page for a while.) 15:43, 2005 Jun 24 (UTC)
The way you did it was problematic; the history has to be kept due to GFDL requirements. I merged the page history from Aura (deleteme) back into Aura (paranormal) (which is a complex procedure where an admin has to do a sequence of moves, deletions and restores in an exact order). Next time, you might want to avoid it by either moving the original article to be one of the new child articles or writing the disambiguation page over the original article (which is better depends on where most of the content ends up).
You also didn't note the origin of the information on at least Aura (symptom) and Aura, which AFAICS you copied from the original article. Again because of the GFDL requirements, you should say so when you copy information from one article to another, either on the edit summary or on the talk pages (which means you should go to the talk pages and add notes saying where the text was copied from).

3RR on Richard C. Hoagland
Although I agree with you about the money issue, I just wanted to point out that Alan G. Archer isn't near his 3RR limit as you said in this edit summary. The rule limits an editor to three reverts on a single article over the course of 24 hours. Looking at the history, AGA only appears to have made a single effective revert that recently. - No problem. It's my insanity that's the issue :P -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 00:05, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- No doubt insanity is a common side-effect of having been boiled and served with drawn butter. TCC (talk) (contribs) 00:14, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
