Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, ConstRepublic! I have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! --Flex (talk/contribs) 22:58, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I did have a question. I have been cleaning up the Prison Fellowship page a bit. It has some wikiboxes on top saying the page doesn't have enough sources, wikilinks, etc. I was wondering who makes the decision to remove those boxes? I also asked this question on the discussion page, but haven't gotten any responses. What's the best practice for this?
Thanks

- Looking at it, a few sections should have more wikilinks added to them, and you do need more references from uninvolved 3rd party sources, such as the news. So for now, I think the tags are still fairly appropriate, but if you can add more wikilinks and find some 3rd party sources, then they can be removed in the future. More info in sources can be found at WP:RS. Hopefully that answers your question, if not, drop me a note on my talkpage.--Terrillja talk 17:46, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Obama's Stimulus Bill Prologue
[edit]This is a copy of the talk page message i left for you:
New revised bill was footnoted. all previous drafts are dicta and irrelevant. article was footnoted regarding the lack of time for the members of congress to read the bill. no POV, just LOGIC. it is voluminous and abstract.
Regardless, the prologue must be updated as it stands now. i suggest you unrevert my version. it is factual and succinct and you lost my pdf links to the final amended version. that took me more than 1 hour to consoldiate.

[edit]Hi.
Oops! I am so sorry that I accidentally erased your entry at American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. I now see that another editor has already fixed it. Grundle2600 (talk) 21:37, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Reverting edits
[edit]Hi, I had a question about reverting edits. I ran across some vandalism recently and the vandal made 4 separate edits and then someone else reverted his last edit, but left 3 more vandalism edits. I tried to undo the other edits, but it couldn't do it because there were intermediate edits (it wasn't the last one). So I did them by hand. Is there an easier way to do this??? Thanks ConstRepublic (talk) 02:19, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, you can simply go on the diff and press 'edit' near the username and then saving it. -- Mentifisto 02:25, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
License tagging for File:ZebraTechnologiesLogo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ZebraTechnologiesLogo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:05, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:ZebraTechnologiesLogo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ZebraTechnologiesLogo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:02, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
breakpoint proposed deletion
[edit]The article BreakPoint has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gabriel syme (talk) 21:32, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
