[edit]Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you recently removed content from Lemba people without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. This is what the article says and thus needs to be in the lead. Doug Weller talk 21:48, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
Please don't ignore what the sources in the article say and delete a summary of that from the lead
[edit]if you read the section on DDNA. It's clear that the latest research doesn't claim a Cohen connection. If you have later research, take it to the talk page and ask that the lead be changed. Continually deleting something clearly sourced is a bad idea. Doug Weller talk 07:46, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 28
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bravelands, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Endorsement. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Thanks for contributing to the article Variolation. However, do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Thanks! P.S. If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. Graham87 08:14, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- YouTube channels like SciShow are not reliable sources, especially in medical articles. In fact we prefer things like reputable books and peer-reviewed journal articles to videos in general. I apologise for referring to your edit as refspam in my edit summary, but adding Youtube videos (especially recent ones) to the lead sections of articles (which rarely require citations anyway) is never a good sign and is generally considered refbombing. Got it! ConfidentFungus (talk) 15:43, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
FYI the SciShow video his a huge list of sources in it's description.
- I didn't realise about the list of sources in the SciShow page ... but I've undone your edits again because you're adding sources where they're absolutely not needed, as I said above.. Honestly I don't recommend doing anything significant with medical articles unless you are yourself a doctor or have relevant expertise that comes from extensively reading sources from a reference library.
