Your changes at Freemasonry
[edit]I think your edit took us into areas that really are of only secondary importance to Understanding Freemasonry. To my mind, we don't need to explain why the continental Masons dropped the requirement for a belief in deity... What matters is that they did so, and that this resulted in a schism in the fraternity.
If you disagree... raise the issue on the article talk page, so other editors can give their opinion on the issue. We can then edit according to consensus. Blueboar (talk) 15:40, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
- If we can add that to a Freemasonry in France-type article, that would be good (assuming the sources as to why are not OR), because that is fundamental to the GLNF/GOdF difference, and it might be useful in GOdF in a truncated format, but in a top level article like Freemasonry, it's too much detail on the topic. - Ideally, we add it to Freemasonry in France, because that article is terribly bad, and this is a good starting point for a major part of it. I assume the sources are not OR? MSJapan (talk) 00:07, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
