Fix your script
The WP:ANI outcome was clear. You should not be running a script that removes state from city, state as this is not a clear consensus. I will continue to revert these changes and will bring it back to ANI if this continues. Rikster2 (talk) 14:43, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- What edits are you referring to? Colonies Chris (talk) 14:44, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- Keydren Clark the latest. Arthur Kenney (basketball) before that. Rikster2 (talk) 14:45, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- A minor oversight in the course of many more significant edits. Have you had complaints from readers that they are obliged to manually search for New York City? No, I thought not. Having reverted the whole lot, perhaps you would like to reapply my other edits. But no - of course you think that telling readers the less than useful news that New York City is in New York state is so much more important than any other improvements. I have no plan to continue removing states, much as I would like to - any isolated occasion (it's not exactly a flood is it - two in a week) is an oversight. - It doesn’t matter - you ignored the outcome of the ANI by leaving this in place. I’ve heard all your arguments about why you prefer to drop State already. I’m just asking you to adhere to the outcome of the ANI. Rikster2 (talk) 15:11, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- Another with Patrick Ewing Jr. (“Boston, Massachusetts” to “Boston”). Chris, the terms of the ANI outcome were clear, you were to remove the parameter that strips state from city, state. You clearly have not done so. I am going to ask you again to fix this - you are responsible for the edits made by your script. I am not interested in if you agree or don’t agree with if the state should stay or go, that was discussed in depth in the ANI discussion. If I see another one of these I am going to need to take this to ANI again as you don’t seem to have heeded the original outcome. Rikster2 (talk) 12:19, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

Hi Chris. A similar comment with your AWB edit to 2013 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, which removed "Pennsylvania" from "Philadelphia, Pennsylvania". I'm OK with these edits in prose, but they should not be done in tables and lists without consensus. Per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names): These are advice, intended to guide, not force, consensus
. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 13:49, 10 April 2018 (UTC)

I must remind you that you should refrain from making edits such as this. You have already been warned here in December 2017, and you must engage in a discussion to seek consensus. You are again starting to abuse AWB despite the ruling of the administrators at the mentioned discussion regarding your behavior. – Sabbatino (talk) 14:53, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
