Information icon Hello, I'm FAdesdae378. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to University of New South Wales have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi there, thanks for letting me know - not sure why it was deemed inappropriate as I only added links from our website which is the source of truth - are you able to give me advice if I am able to add in the external link section instead? Thanks CollEditor (talk) 03:08, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@CollEditor: Please see Wikipedia:External links. Embedding external links in the body of an article is frowned upon. In addition, you seem to suggest that you represent the university in some capacity. If so, please review Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines and paid editing disclosure policy. Disclosure is mandatory if you are the university's employee or a third-party representative. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:05, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Noted, thanks for the info. Can I also ask how I can edit a title to a page? I couldn't find it in the information in the FAQ page CollEditor (talk) 02:29, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first pages you edited was Draft:Fig Tree Hall, University of New South Wales, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that page.

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

hello thanks for the info - i'm happy for my draft to be deleted but is there any way for the old page to be reinstated? Or if we could know why it was deleted? CollEditor (talk) 03:29, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@CollEditor: You have still continued to edit topics related to New South Wales University without providing the required disclosures according Wikipedia's paid editing disclosure policy. Compliance with this policy is mandatory and your disclosure takes priority over all other concerns. Do not make any more edits to topics until this disclosure is provided. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:40, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
