King Leopold II mutilated and killed around 20 million Africans in the Congo. This is very well documented. All one has to do is take a look at the logs in Belgium.

Yes, I am aware of King Leopold's genocide and this certainly should be added to the list, but this is not the genocide I was referring to. I was referring to the death toll for the Second Congo War (1998-2003). The death toll for this genocide is highly disputed (e.g., DR Congo war deaths 'exaggerated') and thus inconclusive.
