[edit]This seems like a good start although I would encourage you to either have some type of cross-section or stratigraphic diagram or table that can tell people the names of the major formations present, the types of sediment that they are composed of and their depositional ages.I also don't see very much here about the petroleum system. You need to be very explicit about the main sources, reservoirs, seals and trapping mechanisms are. I would recommend that you have a short paragraph with a subheading on each of these topics. What you have here is a nice general introduction but you need more specific details to make this a high-quality contribution Pclift (talk) 14:34, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

[edit]The page is on a good start. The description of the geology is good; however, I think a geologic cross section would help visually reinforce the description of the geology. I would suggest talking about where the reservoir is located in the strata and what source it may have migrated from.
