I see that you have received a Conflict of Interest message even before you got the Welcome message. That's not the way it should be. You should have been treated with a bit more sensitivity and it should have been assumed that you were editing in good faith since these were your initial contributions. Still these things happen. Some people are hyper-sensitive about advertising. I've left a comment about it on the COIN. From what I can see you've done the right things to resolve it, so there shouldn't be a problem going forward. It's no big deal so don't worry about it.
