Need help with setting this bot for archiving my talk page

Hey there. I ran into an issue when setting this bot to archive my talk page with index and everything. It has not archived anything and I was wondering how long does it take before it usually springs into action, this thinga-ma-bober? Providing my setup diff here. When I set mine up it wasn't until around 23 hours later when the first archive happened. This was 10 years ago however, things could have changed in all that time! MadGuy7023 (talk) 22:35, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
When it comes to archive indexing per H:ARC, do I need to change the two params in {{User:ClueBot III/Master Detailed Indices/{{NAMESPACE}}: {{BASEPAGENAME}}}} to my name when placing said template in my archive index subpage or will the bot do it automatically without changing "NAMESPACE" and "BASEPAGENAME"? Issue with my first archive

Hello. I set up Cluebot III to archive my talk page. Here is the following code I used to set the archive process.

I set the bot to archive my talk page threads with the numbered archive archiveprefix to User talk:Qwerty284651/Archives 1 using |archiveprefix={{subst:FULLPAGENAME}}/Archive, but instead it archived them to User_talk:Qwerty284651/Archives/ and then it displayed a link in the archive box to the archives as s/, instead of Archive 1. It also moved the entire talk page, with the size of 80.000+ bytes, to the new archive page, when I specifically set it up to |minkeepthreads=5}} and |maxarchsize=60000. I don't know what I set up wrong or why the bot archived it the talk page with /Archive/ index.

Also, I set the "header" parameter to {{Automatic archive navigator}}, but the bot put the default {{archive}} instead at the top of the archive page. Why did this occur?

I was going to move my archive page to /Archive 1 and relocate the excess archives to archive 2, but I was afraid the bot might just repeat the erroneous process when moving future threads to the designated archive pages. I am glad the archive index option I set up is working fine, so that's nice to see.

Hopefully, some light is shed on this issue and that it gets resolved.

@Qwerty284651: All the examples are shown with no space between the pipe character and the parameter name, |age=..., whereas your setup has a space, | age=.... Without looking at the bot's code, I can't be sure, but I suspect that the bot has ignored all the parameters you've tried to set, and run with its default settings. I suggest that you put back all the material that the bot has archived, delete the space before each parameter name, and wait 24 hours to see if the bot does anything differently. If it does, you can tag any redundant archive pages for deletion with {{db-g6}}. -- John of Reading (talk) 17:31, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
@Qwerty284651: Well, that didn't work! My next guess is that the bot is seeing the empty version of "User:ClueBot III/ArchiveThis" that is hiding inside HTML comment tags and nowiki tags, just above the real one. Again, without seeing the bot code I have no idea whether that's the problem, but it would be worth undoing the archiving again and removing the empty one completely. I'm sorry that this is taking so long to sort out. -- John of Reading (talk) 14:29, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
@John of Reading, I removed the hidden "User:ClueBot III/ArchiveThis" inside nowiki tags and restored the archived content. It should work now. And don't worry. I am in no hurry. Qwerty284651 (talk) 15:22, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
@Qwerty284651: That worked much better - the bot followed your instructions this time. Just a space was missing, so I've corrected that in the instruction block and have renamed the archive to User talk:Qwerty284651/Archive 1. I'll stick {{db-g6}} tags on the incorrect pages. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:15, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
(More) I'll wait for the bot to run again before trying to sort out the index pages: User:ClueBot III/Master Detailed Indices/User talk:Qwerty284651, User:ClueBot III/Detailed Indices/User talk:Qwerty284651/Archives/, User:ClueBot III/Detailed Indices/User talk:Qwerty284651/Archive1. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:22, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
@John of Reading, what If I created an Archive index page and transcluded User:ClueBot III/Master Detailed Indices/User talk:Qwerty284651 onto it? I moved the content back to my talk page, so the bots can archive again. Hopefully this time it creates the archive index normally. Either that or I will create the arc. in. subpage myself and transclude the aforementioned arc. page from Cluebot III. Qwerty284651 (talk) 21:13, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
@Qwerty284651: It all looks good now. The bot has created User:ClueBot III/Detailed Indices/User talk:Qwerty284651/Archive 1 and used it in User:ClueBot III/Master Detailed Indices/User talk:Qwerty284651. I think we're done here! -- John of Reading (talk) 06:38, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
@John of Reading, indeed we are done. Thank you so much for your help. Qwerty284651 (talk) 14:41, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
