I appreciate your brightening of my original image (Image:FF7-AC Cameo.jpg), but, normally, when one edits an existing image, they upload it to the same name. This allows for the image history to remain intact. The way it is now, I have no credit in the image history. If I were you, I would upload your version over my version. This way, I get credit for creating it and you get credit for brightening it. I would do it, but I want you to get first-hand credit for the changes. Then, put your images up for deletion at Images for deletion and put the original image back on the page. I hope I don't sound rude or anything, but I just want to receive credit for the image. This "law" about fansites.

I had just edited back in the links the other night when they were removed, my reasoning being "What's a show without it's fans? Especially a site with the goal of bringing the show back?".

I understand if there were too many of them, and some were offline, but if you want to get down to it the Unofficial ReBoot Home Page is also a fansite.

I did a quick search of popular cartoon 'Code Lyoko', it's main fansites are still there. However I suppose could just be a matter of time before they too are removed.

I'm not personally a fan of this, but yeah... if the community of editors actively involved in editing the Reboot article can debate which sites are the most relevant to keep, that would be good. Alternatively, if the DMOZ category for Reboot is good, or there's some sort of directory somewhere, by all means, a link to that would be encouraged.

As for Code Lyoko... One site is news related, two our run by people involved in the program, one is production company site, and the other is a true fansite. By that matter, each is warranted. -- Zanimum 15:28, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

This stuff is indeed fancruft. It's sourced to fansites and YouTube, neither of which are reliable. I see no reason to expound on what a "megabyte" is within the ReBoot article. If the info is necessary, just link to megabyte, don't give a definition. Also, terms like "oddly" are informal, original research and should not be used. "wikt:reimagining" is just a euphemism for "remake" that manufacturers like to use because it deemphasizes the fact that existing stuff is getting redone.
