User talk:Cljim22/Canadian environmental history
I'm starting by adding some block quote from the handful of historiographical reviews I know of; these will need to be rewritten into paragraphs using our own words and referencing these review essay, not quoting them. (JSClifford 14:39, 28 June 2011 (UTC))
We need to decide how to organize the list of key works in the field and limit the number of books/articles listed. This should not be a bibliography, but instead a further reading list of the 15-20 most important books/articles. I've cut the "major works" section from this draft article. I think it would be too much of a distraction as we debate what books should and should not be listed. Instead we should try and reference as many key works in Canadian environmental history throughout the rest of the article using the citation function. This will still create a great list of references for readers.
