i totally understand - i dont work for them anymore - i didnt change my email address but have now. Sorry
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, CliveCrippen, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The plain and simple conflict of interest guide
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! --Finngall talk 01:17, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:CliveCrippen
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on User:CliveCrippen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 01:17, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
The article American Media Distribution has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence of notability. Fails WP:ORGDEPTH.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - MrX 01:32, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
This page should not be speedy deleted because...

i totally understand - i dont work for them anymore - i didnt change my email address but have now. Sorry
Should I change the title? I tried to and did not understand that there does not seem to be a way. - I can't seem to delete the page.article.
I took out many of the things I could see looked that way. I will sandbox from now on. Sorry I am just a newbee.
This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --CliveCrippen (talk) 02:58, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
It was created not to advertise in any way shape or form, and I will be happy to remove anything that seems like advertising. This is our first article and this company exists, and is very large, but operates behind the scenes so no one writes articles about them. Many companies do not want to admit they use them as it shows that they are not using their in-house reporters and subcontracting.
they are behind the scenes and a large portion of many stories that are seen on the major news outlets.
How can we simply state the existence of this large company and their history? We are more than open to any suggestions.
thank you so much for your help.

[edit]Hello, CliveCrippen. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "American Media Distribution".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:American Media Distribution}}
