User notice: temporary 3RR block

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
The duration of the block is 48 hours.

The incivility doesn't help you either.

did you blocked the asshole who contacted you from editing too or am i the only one banned? he started the edit war by adding false entries to an article with no source removing my sourced true facts, classic. whatever the truth will be known and you can't block me assholes. cheers. Your Persona

[edit]

Hey man. You come across as a wee bit thick. Look at your discussions on the GT5P page. You are not a games fan, but a PS3 fanboy. Get a life and enjoy ALL consoles. And change your attitude - you might actually start liking yourself then. More flaming than an arsonist! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.130.185.78 (talk) 23:25, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Halo masterchief unreal ps3.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Halo masterchief unreal ps3.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:28, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Keibu.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NW (Talk) 15:20, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

i had forgotten to add the CC category. it has been fixed. Cliché Online (talk) 20:58, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:173.57.187.153

[edit]

Hi, thankyou for warning User:173.57.187.153, however I ask you to avoid insulting the vandals. Calling them extra insulting names is likely to encourage more bad behaviour from them. Instead your warning should be a good example for them to follow. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:54, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

got it, sorry i was pissed off by his behavior. i can't understand his purpose, wasting everyone's time. Cliché Online (talk) 20:57, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, there are a bunch of warning template you can use to warn people, such as {{subst:Uw-vandalism3}} ~~~~with numbers from 1 up to 4. Unfortunately there are a group of people out there that like to cause disruption. By the editing pattern, can you tell that there is just one person editing from the IP number? If so we do not have to consider others that may be editing from there. In the recent edits I cannot see a reason to block, but that is because I don't know the topic! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:08, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, i've posted a warning template #2 on his talk page. his edits are nonsense and random false informations (lately he replaced a sourced data about a character's age with false information -he did it before-). i've seen all the edits he made to another article i don't monitor have been reversed by other editors ([2]). I'll keep watching over him. Thanks. Cliché Online (talk) 16:29, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Traduction de la saga Kerberos

[edit]

Bonjour. While waiting for the Red Spectacles.

Merci d'avance, KerberosP (talk) 20:05, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yakuza 3

[edit]

Hello. I added the tag (gamecleanup) to Yakuza 3 as the character section is excessively detailed and in-universe, taking up at least half of the article. To say the article isn't that detailed compared to the Japanese version is totally irrelevant. Thanks! Fin© 18:14, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your message was a little hard to understand, what did you mean by "after the fight"? I also tidied the intro and added the EU date in my initial edit, so I don't know what you mean by "[you] did nothing". The Japanese version of the article is completely and totally irrelevant, why on earth would it be relevant? I've no idea why nobody's tagged the Japanese article, that's a bit like me asking you why the Irish wikipedia has no article on PlayStation 3. Thanks! Fin© 18:46, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good job, it looks a lot better now! =) Thanks! Fin© 21:36, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
and i'm not an irish though... Cliché Online (talk) 21:42, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Which is why you asking me about the Japanese wikipedia is like me asking you about the Irish wikipedia. Thanks! Fin© 22:13, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
except the english yakuza 3 article is based on the japanese one and the irish people have nothing to do with this. Cliché Online (talk) 22:21, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter what the Yakuza 3 article is based on, why would it? The article on the english wikipedia is my only concern. I was pointing out that you saying "the Yakuza 3 article has lots more detail on the Japanese wiki" is like me saying "there is no Yakuza 3 article on the Irish wiki". It's simply not relevant to the discussion. Thanks! Fin© 22:36, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
the thing is you're the only one complaining about the article getting too much details, there are more details on the japanese article and no one cared, so why do you?! your "too much details" is subjective not objective, get it? if you have the right to put a tag i have the equal right to remove it. that's the point. Cliché Online (talk) 22:56, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just because I'm the only one to put a tag on it does not mean my claims aren't valid, or that I'm the only one that thinks so. There is no PlayStation 3 article on the Irish wikipedia, does that mean nobody should care about the PlayStation 3 article on this one? Please stop using the Japanese wikipedia to justify the amount of detail, it just doesn't make sense - it's essentially as valid as my comparison about the Irish PS3 article. Too much detail is of course subjective, but when the character section was half of the article, I'm pretty sure most would concur there was excessive detail. Of course you have the right to remove the tag, and I've the right to return it if you haven't addressed the concerns outlined by it. Anyway, I won't respond again because this conversation is going nowhere. Thanks! Fin© 23:27, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
indeed this conversation is dangerously going to the right side of this talk page. Cliché Online (talk) 23:32, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hold your horses.

[edit]

Kindly don't come onto my talk page with that attitude or you'll get nowhere. That being said, if it was a redirect you were trying to create, fine. What I saw was a bunch of random characters. If you'd like, I can review the deletion and make any corrections. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 17:45, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I see what happened. I deleted the original error, but you must have been working on the correction at the same time. I saw two versions in the deletion log; I only saw one in the article space and the deletion must have affected both. I restored the corrected version. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 17:49, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
