Power weaving

I would be intersted to see an expanded section (or perhaps a new article) dealing with the widespread adoption of machine weaving. Every one focuses on Cartwight as the innovator, but I have not seen a clear account of when weaving was widely mechanised; Cartwight initially had only limited success. Cotton Mill

I thoroughly approve of your quarantining the addition relating to fiction. A similar addition was made to another article I watch and has been deleted. Fiction is almost invariably a highly derivative source, particulrly as an author need have few qualms about altering inconvenient facts to fit their story. Furthermore, a novelist will often (like a journalist) simplify and exaggerate. Peterkingiron (talk) 09:50, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
