Mineral Symbols: A moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Mineral Symbols: A, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Mineral symbols, from its old location at User:Clay1965/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 21:25, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Mineral symbols (abbreviations)
[edit]The Draft:Mineral symbols (abbreviations) article that you are currently editing is monitored on a special page of Wikipedia which gives details of recent edits of articles in WikiProject Geology. I have looked at your draft article and I want to draw your attention to the guidelines about the use of bold font in Wikipedia. Your use of bold font does not follow the Wikipedia's Manual of Style guidelines, specifically MOS:BOLD (see also MOS:EMPHASIS). Emphasis is usually done using italic font not bold font. For example, Bushmakinite instead of Bushmakinite for Bmk. I know that the italic font is not as clear as bold font, but the Manual of Style is a generally accepted standard that editors should attempt to follow. You may wish to take this information into consideration before you add even more bold font to the draft article. — GeoWriter (talk) 12:52, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Mineral Symbols: A
[edit]Hello, Clay1965. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Mineral Symbols: A".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted.
