November 2011

[edit]

Hello! I'm a bot created by another Wikipedia editor. I wanted to let you know that I removed a link that you recently added to the page Unsuccessful attempts to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest here. I did this because http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Eurovision+Kosovo&oq=Eurovision+Kosovo&aq=f&aqi=g2&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=2730l8283l0l8954l19l17l1l6l6l1l312l1856l0.4.4.1l9l0 is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. We generally try to avoid linking to external audio or video.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Thank you! --XLinkBot (talk) 12:54, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from adding false information to the JESC2012 article. Any piece of information being added, MUST include sources links that are reliable, and back-up what is being included. The actions you are taking can been classed as vandalism, and may result in your account being blocked. Wesley Mouse (talk) 10:07, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Eurovision Car Contest 2011, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Kosm1fent Won't you talk to me? 12:22, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Eurovision Car Contest 2011. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Decline reason: You are blocked directly for vandalism. Please see WP:GAB (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:33, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To elaborate, the problem was described at WP:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive729#User:Claus M. blatant vandalism to several Eurovision-related articles.
"Vandalism" actually goes to far, main problem was that you added many unsourced speculations, removed sourced content, and did not engage in discussions with other editors about your changes and those problems. Amalthea 12:35, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
