Draft notes
[edit]Hi! I wanted to leave you some notes on your draft.
In your edit summary you state that you're revising the lead. Keep in mind that Wikipedia has a specific way that they style the lead. The lead should be a general summary/overview of the article. Also, the first sentence is typically set up the way it is in the main article.
The content is written as more of a reflection on the quote cited - keep in mind that we can only summarize; the material shouldn't be a response or reflection on the topic. In other words, we shouldn't say that something is suggested unless we're attributing it to a specific person ala "This Person suggests that...", as it can be seen as original research.
The sourcing comes up as " "LINCCWeb Catalog Search". www.linccweb.org", so it doesn't tell the reader anything about the source itself. Be very cautious and make sure that the citation has the correct info. I've fixed the source since there was enough information in the URL, but just be cautious in the future.
I would honestly recommend that you look at improving the body of the article instead of the lead, since it's in rougher shape. You could probably merge some of your content into the section on the history of the concept, as well as add more sourcing.
