Total Hair Experts
[edit]Good day. When I looked at your submission this morning in Articles for Creation, nothing was showing up at all. I see there are some serious formatting issues in the portion of the article that is now visible so that may be why. Sometimes after an article has been reviewed those portions that were hidden by codes become unblocked so now I can see it. I will edit it to fix the formatting as much as possible but there are other issues, as well. Your lone reference does not in fact include all of the information in your article. Your user name suggests that you are affiliated with the subject of your article which is contrary to wikipedia's guidelines about conflicts of interest. Your article reads like an advertisement or promotional piece - Wikipedia is not a web hosting site or directory of services - it is a collection of encyclopedia articles. The subject of an encyclopedia article must be "notable" in the sense that independent, third party, reliable and verifiable sources have written about the subject and you have drawn your facts about the subject from those sources. You must then cite those sources as references.
The help pages you need to review are:
- Conflict of interest
- Independent reliable sources
- Referencing for beginners
- Manual of Style
- Verifiability
- Notability criteria for companies
- Policy regarding self promotional and advertising articles
- What wikipedia is not
If you can revise your article so that it is drawn from independent, third party sources, it is properly sourced, and those sources demonstrate that your subject clearly meets the criteria of corporate notability, then please feel free to resubmit it for review. I remain concerned about the conflict, though.
