Hello, Ckruschke. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, VeggieTales (video game series), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Geddy Lee

The original line up was Jeffery Jones, Alex Lifeson, and John Rutsey. Jones was the original lead singer/bassist between August-September 1968. Jones left and Geddy Lee joined in September 1968. He was asked to leave in May 1969. He rejoined the band in September 1969. So he no, he wasn't the only singer. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 17:02, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

Mr. C.C. - I see you redid your note and clarified it - that was most of my concern that it didn't make any sense. Ckruschke (talk) 18:06, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Ckruschke

Grady Tate

Due to your revision, which you claimed was "not needed", the opening section of the page once again reads :

In addition to his work as sideman, Tate released many albums as leader lent his voice to songs in the animated Schoolhouse Rock! series.

My heartiest and deepfelt best wishes to you on your ongoing learning of, and apparent struggles with, comprehensible English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.224.72.100 (talk) 23:04, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi - the "entire" content of your change was not needed and in fact lent itself to more grammatical error. If you are refering to the -one- word that appears to be missing from that sentence, I'm not sure why you just didn't make that change and be done with it instead of trolling my talk page... Ckruschke (talk) 18:05, 1 July 2019 (UTC)Ckruschke
I expanded and clarified the info. And actually, if you possessed that kind of thinking ability, you would see that you're the actual troll here. But I'm perfectly happy to leave as it is, and have the mistake now be under your ownership. Bye now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.224.72.100 (talk) 02:25, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for the fix on Esther. It is in the source but anything subjective is the author's opinion. Not worth expanding on at length and so on in an off-topic article is better to leave out. Dartslilly (talk) 19:59, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Peanuts talk page archive

Hi, I moved Peanuts/Archive 3 to Talk:Peanuts/Archive 3, I think that was where you intended it to go. Schazjmd (talk) 18:34, 2 October 2019 (UTC)

Also, I messed up by tagging the mainspace article's talk page as R8, so I've requested a refund to have it put back. Schazjmd (talk) 18:45, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
All fixed, and it's properly linked to on Talk:Peanuts now. Schazjmd (talk) 19:00, 2 October 2019 (UTC)

Photo caption

You recently reverted a change to a photo caption at Peanuts, restoring the caption as saying it was a picture of Knott's Berry Farm rather than Cedar Point. However, the description of the picture from the original photographer is "Snoopy Bounce at Cedar Point Camp Snoopy entrance", and if you zoom in on the green recycling can in the lower right quadrant of the picture, you'll see the Cedar Point name on it, so it looks like the change you reverted was actually correct. I avoid editing Peanuts articles directly due to having a Peanuts-related conflict of interest, but if you could examine your revert and see if it is worth restoring what you had reverted, that would be a good step. --Nat Gertler (talk) 14:46, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Done - sorry to exercise you. Just so you know, I ALWAYS revert anon editors who change existing text because 99 time out of 100, its someone fooling around or a moron making incorrect changes because he/she doesn't understand the subject. I would take it to Talk next time rather than editing anonymously. I've seen editors on other pages who do this "I have a conflict of interest, but would suggest the following edit..." Cheers! Ckruschke (talk) 14:54, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Ckruschke
Just to be clear, I wasn't the anonymous editor you reverted. I do not edit anonymously, and I do take it to talk when I see something that needs editing on the Peanuts pages (in fact, more than half of the conversations on Talk:Peanuts were started by me doing just that.) I just thought that since you had just made the edit, you'd see fit to undo it. Which you did! Thanks! --Nat Gertler (talk) 14:59, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Honus Wagner card image in Baseball

Hi Ckruschke, I'm curious as to why you think this revert was inappropriate. It seems like information about the Honus Wagner T206 is pertinent here, was sourced to ESPN (via the AP), and has been in the article since at least 2010. If anything, its removal appears to be our spammer friend User:Generalinfosports retaliating for the deletion of his promotional content about the Hank Aaron card that he is trying to add to multiple locations, and not "an advertisement... deleted by the originator." Thanks. --Kinu t/c 19:22, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

Its from eBay. Did you see his revert comment to when I originally took it down - he has a business where he grades cards. This is totally an add for him. Very obvious - not sure why it would be kept... Ckruschke (talk) 01:02, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Ckruschke
Huh? This by the spammer is from eBay. The reference to the T206 is very obviously not. I'm not sure what the confusion is here. --Kinu t/c 01:18, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

Picture for "Baseball" article

Hi there. I noticed that you reverted my edit on the baseball article and wanted to give my reasoning for it. With all due respect to Jason Heyward, I feel like Mike Trout is a much better fit for an article titled "baseball" considering he is regarded as the best player today and already being regarded as one of the best of all time. The picture is also more recent, as it is from the 2019 ASG, while the Heyward pic is from 2016. Lastly, I politely disagree with your edit summary saying that the photo featured "no action." Swinging at the ball is considered action, right? Troutfarm27 (Talk) 20:00, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

Hi - With all due respect, your picture is terrible. Also you are clearly a Trout homer, which is fine, but this colors your viewpoint.
Find a better picture of Trout and I honestly won't care, but one of him from behind and above and doing nothing is a terrible photo to be in the lede of a major article like this. Ckruschke (talk) 14:56, 8 July 2020 (UTC)Ckruschke

Kiritimati or Christmas Island

Thanks very much for your edits on Kiritimati. You say that you think that there are many guess or original work — not sourced –. I have read many times the whole article and I have never read incorrect or guess informations. Before that I have read all books and journals about this atoll abc been there for a long period of time. My son lives there in Port London. As you know it is quite easy to write « citation needed » especially on remote matters, than looking every assertion on Books (especially the very good ones that are few). My good friend Anne di Piazza, an anthropologist, has published some work (in French or even in English). You could easily find the references. Thanks again.-Arorae (talk) 19:17, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

Then cite the information. Shouldn't be that hard if you have all the books. If you don't have the books or direct knowledge that you can source, and word of mouth or personal knowledge doesn't count in Wikipedia, then I or another author will tag "English is generally understood, but little used outside the tourism sector" or "The first contingent of Americans was a company from the 102nd Infantry Regiment, a National Guard unit from New Haven, Connecticut" all day long because these are statements that cannot be verified. Uncited info is called Original Research in Wikipedia and it isn't allowed. I thought I was very judicious with the tags as I debated tagging the entire article as needing additional references.Ckruschke (talk) 17:51, 28 July 2020 (UTC)Ckruschke

Deleted archives?

Where are the archived entries from Talk:Tuskegee Syphilis Study? According to this edit, it appears that you deleted them. Mitchumch (talk) 14:42, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

That's an excellent question. It appears my creation of the archive page did not take. I created the archive marker on the parent page - not sure what happened to the daughter page... I'll have to recreate it. Ckruschke (talk) 17:40, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Ckruschke

"Tregetour Pictures" Hoax

"Tregetour Pictures" is a fake production company inserted into several Wikipedia articles from various IP addresses. It does not exist on IMDb. I see that you reverted its insertion into Take Me Out to the Ball Game (film). Thank you. I have personally removed it from over a dozen articles. --Jeremy Butler (talk) 12:34, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

List of natural disasters by death toll

List of natural disasters by death toll, regarding your modification to the list: "Ten deadliest natural disasters by highest estimated death toll excluding epidemics and famines", The 1931 China Floods: WHAT PART OF "HIGHEST ESTIMATE DONT YOU UNDERSTAND?". It is a list based purely on the highest estimate, not a range. All disasters have death toll ranges, low and high estimates, but this particular list is purely based on highest estimate. Sorry about the caps, but people keep misunderstanding and making this mistake, I am just fed up with it.... But its clearly written "highest estimate" only. Wish you a good day, cheers! Dilbaggg (talk) 15:01, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

There are many charts on this page and this is the only one that doesn't use ranges - I think you can understand when people might misinterpret your edit after a cursory glance - which is certainly not a reason for this level of irritation.
And its not March... Ckruschke (talk) 19:56, 3 February 2021 (UTC)Ckruschke
Sorry about the incorrect month, and you are a very senior editor, I highly respect you, but hope you understand now that that particular list is only about the highest estimate, the other lists are about ranges, but this list is only about the highest estimate. Wish you a good day, and take care :) ! Dilbaggg (talk) 04:58, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
