If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aurelijus Sciuka requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —teb728 t c 19:39, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Miscellaneous

Hi Cjam111: You have now uploaded the article on Aurelijus Sciuka twice. There are two problems with it. First, it's not in English, so it doesn't belong here. As has been suggested above, please consider adding it on Lithuanian Wikipedia. Secondly, it has no references. These are required for all new articles on living people. They are also needed to demonstrate notability. The notability standards for musicians are here; you will need at least two mentions in newspapers, online reviews by reputable sources (not private blogs, Facebook, or the musician's own words on his website), etc. and/or solid evidence that he has charted or otherwise met those standards. Just playing with people who have is not enough. The lack of an indication that he meets this stadard is why the page has been speedy deleted both times. If you prefer to write the page in English in order to have it here on English Wikipedia, you may want to go through the process at Wikipedia:Articles for creation; I see you've been adding his name at Requested articles, but I think Articles for creation may have been what you were looking for. If you create it again here in Lithuanian, make sure it clearly says why he is notable under those rules and has references; in that case there is a chance that someone will be able to translate it, but I have to tell you there is a risk that no one is available who can translate Lithuanian. I have given you a welcome template above with links to rules and places to go to ask questions; I am sorry that no one had yet done this. I hope with this information you can figure out what to do; if not, please ask me or someone else. We welcome new editors and new articles. Yngvadottir (talk) 17:03, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission Aurelijus Sciuka

[edit]

Hello Cjam111. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Aurelijus Sciuka.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Aurelijus Sciuka}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 19:20, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
