User talk:Civitatis International
note
[edit]There is a lot of sockpuppet activity going at Civitatis International. IF (and I am not saying I believe anything you write) you are a part of the organization, several experienced editors are watching the article and are keeping any content out of the article that violates Wikipedia policy. In the meantime, there is a standard deletion discussion ongoing (see the link at the top of the article) and it looks like the consensus will be to delete the article. It will take a little time for the community to go through the process. So just stop adding a speedy delete template to the Talk page, which is not appropriate. username issue
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Civitatis International", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 09:53, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
Wikipedia has a strict policy against threatening off-WIki legal action
[edit]Your recent edits to Talk:Civitatis International could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. In particular, this edit where you mention that you "have made a record of every user doing so to pass to national crime agencies" suggests that you would contact law enforcement regarding actions taking place on Wikipedia. Such actions cause a chilling effect on discussion and prevent effectively achieving consensus among editors. That edit has been reverted, but I strongly suggest you not make another such comment, lest your account get blocked until you retract it. —C.Fred (talk) 11:08, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
