Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:48, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 29
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Romania national football team results, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Alan Kelly, Jonas Eriksson and Craig Thomson. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]You indicated that you would add references to the articles you had created - you have not done so and instead have created three more unreferenced articles in the last week [1]. Please let me know why you have done this and if you plan to rectify it. If you need help with referencing, please see Help:Referencing for beginners or ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE. You are risking a block by persistently creating unreferenced articles even though this has been raised with you several times. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 13:41, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
- So far I have put the source of my articles in the 'External Links' section, I'll put a reference to the 'Results' if it's necessary.Cip_Ri (talk) 08:17, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
- If you have put your sources as 'External links', just change the heading to 'Sources' or 'References'. 'External links' just means 'suggestions for further reading'. It's best for readers if sources are WP:INLINECITED, but the most important thing is that it is clear what your sources are. Can you please do this in future? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 08:53, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
- Done Boleyn, I've put the sources, you can check the articles and tell me if it's all right. Best wishes, Cip_Ri (talk) 08:56, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, that's much clearer, I'm just going through them and removing the unreferenced tags. Thanks for your hard work, Boleyn (talk) 08:57, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

FCSB
[edit]Buna seara,
Copilul ala, Dante, vandalizeaza pagina FCSB.
Cip_Ri (talk) 17:49, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Thanks for creating FC Steaua București–FC Rapid București rivalry.
User:Rosguill while examining this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:
The article needs citations to sources which actually discuss the rivalry in detail, as opposed to just head to head results. I searched online, and while coverage in English seems sparse, there appear to be substantial coverage in Romanian source.
To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}

History Merge
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:2022–23 FCSB season a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2022–23 FCSB season. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Robert McClenon (talk) 00:18, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello! No, I haven't copied and pasted the content from that Draft, I didn't even knew about it's existence. I've been creating FCSB's season pages from a while ago (check my history). I've taken a break for the past 2 years and recently I've come back to wikipedia and noticed the current season's page wasn't created, so I created it from zero, using the model from my past pages. I'm going to complete the page, I've got nothing to do with that draft version of the season, which also is incomplete and poorly done as I see. That page should be deleted, the page I make is a legit one. Cip_Ri (talk) 08:04, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
