Information icon Hello, Chriswsi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.Deb (talk) 21:19, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Triona Carville

[edit]

I do not wish to doubt you, but it seems very coincidental that a user called "Triona Carville" created this page and, four hours after its deletion, you recreated the article - the only article you have ever created or contributed to. The fact that you prefer to use the subject's first name rather than her surname suggests some level of familiarity with her as a person. However, I am assuming good faith. It would be useful if you read the guidelines and become familiar with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biographies.Deb (talk) 15:39, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Yes that was me who created the account under her name but I thought if I am going to create more pages in the future I may as well use my real name. I did not mean to publish the page when I did before deletion... my fault. I should have used the sandbox. Thanks for the trust and information. I have used her first name as that is the name she is known for, similar to "Adele" etc. Could you tell me how to get the noindex out of the page so that google can index it please and others can find it in an online search? Thanks again for your help. --Chriswsi (talk) 16:05, 9 February 2017 (UTC)Chriswsi[reply]

If I understand you correctly, "Triona" is her stage name - if so, maybe the page should have been called Triona (singer). I'll move it.Deb (talk) 19:32, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
yes that is correct. Thank you for moving it for me. --Chriswsi (talk)
Would you be able to upload a picture for me as I do not think I am eligible as of yet? Chriswsi (talk) 10:13, 10 February 2017 (UTC)User talk:Chriswsi[reply]
