Hi. Can I ask what the source is of the genealogical information you've been adding to this article? I removed some of it on the ground of WP:WEIGHT, but I was thinking of restoring it as a footnote –I'd want to know that it's sourced before I do that. Where did it come from? Thanks for your response on my talk page. It's good that you want to improve the article on Dinkelberg, but for the information to be kept in the article, you're going to need to provide specific sources for it. (See our policies on verifiability and reliable sources.) If you already have citations for the information, that's great, they just need to be added to the article in the proper format, which I'll be glad to help you with. If, however, you have data without sources, it would be best to see if you can track own where it came from. Unfortunately, because Wikipedia is "the encyclopedia that anyone can edit", we can't take the word of the people who edit without some kind of supporting citation -- our editors aren't (for the most part) experts, and even if they were it would be difficult to prove that they were because we edit through the anonymous internet.

So, if you know where the information comes from, I can assist you in adding it to the article, but if not, a bit of research is going to be required on your part before the article can be updated. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:26, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
