Your message
[edit]I assume that your message was about Peter Chao. I agree that the article made unsubstantiated allegations, and I've removed them — but you must calm down, and make sure that you're editing in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines. You made rather a mess of the article, blanking it and adding the AfD notice in duplicate. You also seem not actually to have started an AfD, so I'll remove the {{afd1}} tag too. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 15:26, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- "the page contains information that is untrue" isn't a ground for AfD, but for improving the article. What in the article do you think is untrue? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 15:54, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- I see that you've been vandalising Winfield Reformed Church. I'm afraid that your behaviour seems to have been designed to make sure that whatever genuine complaint you have (and I honestly can't see the problem in this case) is ignored. Why not explain what you think is false, rather than simply blanking the article? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:02, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Is there a site at which the correct information is given? Note that disagreeing with the content of an article isn't grounds for and AfD. The thing to do is correct it. (By the way, please remember to "sign" your messages with four tildes (~~~~). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:13, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
You say: "He has not been married twice. He was not born in Tainan. He never went to school in Alabama." I'm not sure why being said to have been educated in Alabama is a fiendish lie meant to ruin his reputation, and the article doesn't say that he was born in Tainan, so that seems to leave his being married twice. I'm also not sure why this is so dreadful, but it should be easy enough to establish. I'll remove it pending verification. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:17, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, you were recently reported for vandalism at WP:AIV, but from the looks of it you've tried to nominate an article for deletion without reading the instructions, so I'm going to assume good faith and let it slip for this time, as long as you read everything on this page, you shouldn't be upsetting any users when nominating articles. --Obli (Talk)? 16:28, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Peter Chao
[edit]You are subject of inaccurate information. Peter Chao's current wife is his second wife. His first wife divorced him because of domestic violence dispute. He holds a degree from an Alabama school. This and his family background is all available on the back of his book's jacket except the part regarding his marriages.
