We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Botanicus, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from http://www.botanicus.org/about.asp, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Regarding your comment about the content of botanicus.org, yes, the site apparently is free as in beer (that is, it costs no money), but the content is not free as in freedom. www.mobot.org/conditions.asp clearly specifies that These web pages, texts and images may not be used for any commercial purpose without permission from the Missouri Botanical Garden. Wikipedia contents is useable by commercial purposes, thus contradict botanicus.org statement. In fact, all of the restrictions that are listed there are a violation to the GFDL, thus we can't accept text from there. Sorry. -- ReyBrujo 01:58, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
