I'd like to apologize on the behalf of all the users who mistakenly placed warning templates on your page; it was a software glitch, I think. Anyway, I'm sorry for the inconvenience! Hi. Why did you remove "- The New Hot 98-1" from article WHZT in this edit? Please use Edit Summaries. Thanks! — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 05:07, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Just wanted to leave you a note that I've reversed your move of this article to WMUU. If you look at the FCC's database, you'll see that WMUU-FM is the correct call sign for this station. Per Wikipedia's naming conventions, stations in the U.S. are named using their correct call sign, so the article needs to be at WMUU-FM, regardless of the fact that there is no AM station using the same base letters. Mlaffs (talk) 13:45, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
I can't believe I didn't discover this for so long. WMUU is not a religious station. True, they have sacred music, preaching and bible verses all over the place, but during the daylight hours most of their music is not religious.
They get more people to listen to their message if they aren't religious all the time.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:55, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi. if you check up on our policy guidelines, you will find that Wikipedia is not a radio or television programme guide; Schedules ar threfore not supposed to be listed. if they are, it's beacause no one has got round to deleting them yet. There are good reasons for not publishing schedules,: the main one is that TV and radio scheduling is notoriously volatile, and therefore impossible to keep updated - many Wikipedia edtors who include volatile information in articles never bother to go back and keep it up to date. Encyclopedias must deal with facts only, and as such cannot include information on events that might or might not happen. Hope this helps. --Kudpung (talk) 07:11, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Edge (shaving gel)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Edge (shaving gel), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited WLXC, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KLIF (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Radio station history goes with the frequency, not the call letters
[edit]This is contrary to what I've been told to do, but I won't revert you. How many stations did you do this for? You didn't do it right, and I corrected the situation. To see how, click on my contributions and look for the date when I posted.— Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 20:11, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article List of programs broadcast by Antenna TV has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No sources for most of this article (in particular dates). No independent sources. Fails WP:SIGCOV, WP:NLIST, WP:TV
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Msw1002 (talk) 22:34, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
