Thoreau quote

[edit]

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/30/opinion/falser-words-were-never-spoken.html?_r=1

The real quote is: “I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”

Not:

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.”

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SurplusPrincess-poster.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Every Witch Way

[edit]

Hi, EliOrni. I only want to say you that the character Mia of Every Witch Way, is based on the character Axel Velez of Grachi, the Latin American version of Every Witch Way, that was premiered before that. Why is based on that character? Mariela Romero, the creator of Every Witch Way and Grachi said in an Nickelodeon Latin American interview that she took most of the characters in Grachi, and only some adapted it to the Anglo-Saxon style. Some examples can be:

  1. Emma Alonso (Grachi Alonso)
  2. Daniel Miller (Daniel Esquivel)
  3. Gigi Rueda and Diego Rueda (Rosa and Diego Forlan)
  4. Maddie Van Pelt (Matilda Roman)

In the case of Mia and Jax, they're based in Mia Novoa and Axel Velez, but Romero made an exchange of surnames with the charaters Mia and Jax. So for that, is confirmed that Mia's surname is Velez, as Axel Velez.

I don't want to revert your edit because I don't want reach a edit conflict, so please, apply my edit again, please. If you're Unsure about it, you can ask me anything. 190.33.67.43 (talk) 15:52, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Korean romanizations

[edit]

Hey there. Just letting you know that I fixed the template in your sandbox to correctly display the McCune-Reischauer romanization (you had the parameter named 'mc' when it's supposed to be 'mr', so it didn't display). I found it as I was cleaning up Category:Wikipedia articles needing romanized Korean.  dalahäst (let's talk!) 06:43, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Choi Bae-young has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Youngjae (South Korean singer)

[edit]

Hello. You deleted the whole "Fun Fucts" part, I partly understand you because Japanese wiki rule is as strict as English one. Fun Facts articles are mostly edited by Chinese volunteers and they have more source in their language. I submitted Youngjae's draft so that not only English-speaking people but also the people who don't have wiki page in their own language can get further information about Youngjae. So I think you had better not delete those part. Please try to modify them to "Personal Life" section or like that. You will find examples in other musicians like Justin Bieber. Hello, again. Thank you for adding an article about "I'm All Ears" to Youngjae's wiki page. Ways to improve Magic Man (Jackson Wang album)

[edit]

Hello, ChoHyeri,

Thank you for creating Magic Man (Jackson Wang album).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Per MOS:QUOTE, brief quotes are fine but over-quoting "is incompatible with an encyclopedic writing style and may be a copyright infringement." This article over-quotes, in particular from the RollingStone India source, far too much. Rather than quoting large amounts of text from various sources, try to paraphrase and use your own words instead.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bennv123}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Notice

The article Age of Warriors has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:BEFORE shows no significant coverage in reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
