The lead section of your article provides a clear introduction, it is brief but fairly complete. The overall structure of your article is good, I like how you clearly include both the terrestrial and oceanic parts of the cycle. I wonder if you could make it more clear in the section on linked cycles whether the manganese processes occur in marine situations or terrestrial. I think it's really cool that you included a section on tracking chromium, I think that including some reference to that in the lead section might make sense since it is its own subtopic but I'm not sure that it needs that. Directly addressing some part of the impact humans have on the chromium cycle in the body of your article, since it is obvious that there is a significant flux from industry in your figure, would make the article a little more balanced. The tone you take in the article is very neutral, you don't express any opinions and your facts appear to be supported. I like your article a lot. The figure is neat and readable, and the small details like the fish representing the marine biomass are very good. It looks like the figure is accurate and shows the different aspects of the cycle completely, I especially like how you use different sizes of text and arrows to represent different fluxes although a few of the areas of text are maybe a little too small, so that it becomes a little tricky to read. I think adding the units somewhere on the figure, like stating that it is in Gg/y, or using the abbreviation in the caption would make the units more clear, since you can't really tell the units at a glance. The caption would feel more complete if it included a reference so that it was apparent where you got the data from. The sources you have look good. There are several good overview type sources, and the research papers look like they are used in a very specific way which is good. Your formatting seems correct for all five references and I was able to follow the links so they seem to be good sources in that respect as well. Elivernois3 (talk) 01:42, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
