Image copyright problem with Image:The_Pro_1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:The_Pro_1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Pro 1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:The Pro 1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Rat Terrier Tone
[edit]I'm interested in tone issues you noticed for the Rat Terrier page. Most problems with tone are due to an informal style or using an inappropriate voice (first person, etc.). Please leave some feedback on the discussion page so issues you have can be addressed, otherwise the tag will be removed. Thanks! Macboots (talk) 16:59, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
T. Jackson King comic ref error
[edit]Hi ChimpZealot. I'm the scifi author T. Jackson King. On my wikipage I noted someone added a reference to a comic character named Jackson King at the top of my wikipage. The addition seems to have originated with your edit input. FYI, I have no connection whatever with any comic book characters. So I have asked another editor to delete this reference. Thanks for your volunteer work on Wiki. Tjacksonking (talk) 06:33, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
ChimpZealot's King/comic comment
[edit]Hi ChimpZealot. This is T. Jackson King once again. Regarding your assumption of arrogance and the redirect thingie, I don't mind a redirect so long as the Wikipage data re me doesn't ID me as a comic/TV writer. I simply asked someone to do a Wikipage explanation that I'm not this King/comic person. As for using Wikipedia for promoting my writings, really, you're being a bit silly. I've made a few fixes to data on Wiki since Wiki cloned data regarding me from the Internet Science Fiction Data Base. If I disappear from Wiki, it's no biggie for me. Sooo, you might query politely in the future before you assume a certain motivation. Again, thanks for your volunteer work. ```` —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tjacksonking (talk • contribs) 03:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Respect Thread Conversions
[edit]I'm looking for folks to help convert Respect Threads to wiki formatting on Project Fanboy: WikiFans. Respect Threads, showcase scans of feats performed by comic book characters and have gained an audience on several comic book message boards. A few other wiki editors and myself are trying to convert them from the unprofessional look of a bunch of posts on a message board to the formatting common with WikiMedia wiki's. To view an example of what we're doing, here is a link to Respect Silver Surfer.
I was wondering if you might have time to contribute your comic book knowledge and/or scans of comic book characters performing feats, and help us out with our Respect Articles project?Millennium Cowboy (talk) 02:40, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
