Bosse-Griffiths

[edit]

Could you provide evidences supporting your claim that Gwyn Griffiths' wife was called Käthe instead of Käte? Keep in consideration that we have an article on her written in the form you contested (Käte Bosse-Griffiths). Furthermore, on a 1955 JEA paper of her, she is called "Kate", even without diaeresis. I have just published a book on the Bosse family (see https://www.amazon.de/Verleumdet-verfolgt-vertrieben-Wittenberger-1900-1949/dp/3963111895/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&keywords=Hans-J%C3%BCrgen+Grabbe&qid=1560265136&s=gateway&sr=8-1). The baptismal records of Wittenberg show that the name of Paul Bosse's wife was "Käte". Their daughter was baptized as "Käthe". J. Gwyn Griffiths called her "Kate", but the legal name remained Käthe. I have numerous letter to and by her where this is evident. User: Chicago260 16:07, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
