Humane Society of the United States
[edit]You appear to have engaged in a major rewrite of The Humane Society of the United States. I have reverted these changes. I'm not saying that the changes you made were necessarily incorrect but, given the controversial nature of the article, and the fact that this appears to be your first foray into editing (at least as a registered editor), I'd like to see a discussion of the issues you're trying to address before engaging in such a major overhaul. Your version is still preserved in the page history, so if the discussion concludes that your changes are proper, we can easily restore them.
Please open a discussion at Talk:The Humane Society of the United States to describe what issues you are trying to correct in the article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:28, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
I cannot fathom what is objectionable regarding my edits. The edits were updating the financial history of HSUS and deleting clearly redundant information and single-sentence sections. Lets talk about what specifically you have a problem with.
- Your edits were too extensive for me to evaluate whether they were objectionable. I know that in the past, the article has been subjected to whitewashing by parties attempting to push their own point of view. My only concern is that you have engaged in a massive rewrite of a controversial article as your first foray into Wikipedia, which in itself raises red flags. Per WP:BRD, your bold edits have been reverted. Rather than simply restoring the edits, you should discuss the matter. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:35, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
