Speedy deletion of "The Hong Kong Chefs Association"
[edit]A page you created, The Hong Kong Chefs Association, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for companies in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

I have restored the article based on your assertion on the talk page that you are going to expand the article and provide more third-party reliable sources. The article was right on the fence on whether it was just written like an advert or it just had no notability asserted. Since you contest the deletion and assert that you will expand it I will of course give you that chance. I would focus on wikifying the article, expanding it and adding more third-party references (the group's web site for example is not a third party). I have added the proper tags to the article. Good luck with expanding it, and feel free to ask me any questions if you have any. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk ♦ contribs) @ 00:15, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Your welcome. Pay-to-view sites are usually frowned upon, because not all users are able to verify the content. I have heard of some users taking a screen-shot of the article, uploading it to a photo-hosting web service, and then linking to that as a reference just like you would if the photo was the article. But that is a lot to do for just one reference. That is the only thing I could think of. Good luck! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk ♦ contribs) @ 00:32, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Nice work. I removed the cleanup tags as you have addressed the issues. Good job again! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk ♦ contribs) @ 02:20, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
