[edit]Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Crazy edit-war at Muslim Public Affairs Committee UK. Thank you. Singularity42 (talk) 01:48, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Yes I was involved in it, but I was rectifying the additions entered to the two pages in August, both pages were deliberately altered with unsubstantiated evidence and personal attacks. There is substantial evidence that these stories are fake and their sole purpose was to malign Mr Bukhari and his organisation. If you look back you will see me try and counter their argument, when they deleted that I simply kept reverting the page to its original text. I do think Wiki should at least try and protect people from these types of unwarranted and unsubstantiated personal attacks. They could also make it easier for people to get in contact with admin, I searched all over the place without being able to find a single admin to talk to.
- I see that, but that doesn't excuse edit warring and sock-puppetry, unfortunately. Simply typing "admin" in the search box will give you a link to Wikipedia:Administrators, which in turn tells you how to request administrator attention. Your other account will be unblocked in a week, at which point you will be welcome to return editing. Swarm X 02:08, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
I'm new to this so I didn't know that but next time they try and plant stories in the pages I will be contacting admin straight away.
