Bend Living

[edit]

Hi, your additions to the Bend, Oregon article were pretty much spam, but rather than reverting them completely I just changed them. Since the magazine doesn't have an article, as indicated by the redlink, I would have deleted it for being non-notable, but since all the newspapers in Bend are also redlinks, that hardly seemed fair. Please read up on Wikipedia policy, especially about conflict of interest and about spam. Oh yes, and it's also good to check out the page on What Wikipedia is Not. I hope you will contribute something to the encyclopedia other than advertising for your(?) magazine. Thanks and happy editing. Katr67 15:48, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, that next edit was really spam. Now knock it off:

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
