North Yorks Moors Railway
[edit]Hi @Charlie Methley, thanks for your work on the NYMR article - however, I feel that such a table is a duplication of the existing article List of rolling stock preserved on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, which could lead to confusion and misalignment between the articles as changes are made to one but not the other. I do think that section needs improving with a bit of a synopsis of sorts, but just not a straight up copy of the other page. Danners430 (talk) 09:40, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I am new to editing on wikipedia. I noticed about a year ago that a page with a list of LNER class A4s was deleted, and the information was relocated to the main article. My edit was meant to be a sort of beginning to this process, as i thought it would be a bit neater to have the information on one article. Should i delete my work? - I've already reverted the additions from earlier, but they're archived in the page history should you wish to revisit it - I'd recommend making the same edits, provided they're appropriately sourced, in the article linked above instead - please don't be disheartened by this one small setback, we are all on the same team at the end of the day :-)
- Also, I've left one of the standard welcome messages below since you're reasonably new - it might be helpful to have a read through some of the linked help and policy pages. Danners430 (talk) 10:25, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Copacabana (song), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I advise you to review WP:SONGCOVER and WP:BURDEN given the edit summary you left. The responsibility for providing sources lies with the editors who wish for information to be included. DonIago (talk) 20:25, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Copacabana (song), you may be blocked from editing. The sources you added are not reliable (e.g. WP:RS/IMDb) and/or do not satisfy our requirements (e.g. WP:SONGCOVER). Please do not re-add the same text without providing improved, higher-quality references. DonIago (talk) 02:40, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
