Edit Summary Request
[edit]I have noted that you edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 08:11, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Information and Communications University
[edit]You are well passed the 3 revert rule on Information and Communications University. The rule states that more than 3 reverts may not be done on any one article in a 24 hour period. Any more reverts and you will be blocked. Thanks. --Woohookitty(meow) 09:30, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- Honestly, I'm not the person to talk to. Talk to the other editors. I'm uninvolved. --Woohookitty(meow) 13:08, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
I beg to differ: if you locked the page, you are involved. You have locked the version which does not contain the ESL Blacklist or the problems of the English program. While you note that you your locking does not take sides, while the lock is on, you are involved. **** The school is never going to allow the link to stay. ***
I ask if you could do one of the following: 1. Unlock it and let the edits continue. 2. Ban the page all together. 3. Include the ESL Blacklist info and link in a prominent location near the top of the page and then keep it locked for 30 days. The 30 days will get us past the teacher recruitment period; the period is important for teachers who have seen a recruitment ad and are researching the school can get the important information about it. ( I have already submitted a request for a "lock edit" (not sure exactly what that is called, but I did it by following the instructions)
"Talk to the other editors" simply won't work: the school will accept only their version or what is forced upon them. CharlieDD 23:17, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
