User talk:Charlie144
Hello Charlie144! My name is Eric, and it is my pleasure to be the first to welcome you to Wikipedia! I hope you will decide to stay a long time and help us continue to make this one of the greatest sites on the world wide web. Here are a few useful links for you to explore:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
In addition to that great wealth of knowledge, let me offer you this advice: do what you enjoy! If you enjoy contributing to sports articles, do so! If you like to correct typoes (...), write new articles, find better ways to organize articles, make useful templates, work on projects with others, or even welcome new members, do so! A happy member of our community is a productive member of our community. You can read all of the above links to the last word, or you can jump right into editing. Be bold!
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have the need to sign a page without the time and date, you can use three tildes (~~~). If you have any questions that aren't easily found with the above links, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question. Once again, welcome to Wikipedia and enjoy!
P.S.- If you'd like to introduce yourself to the community and perhaps get a question or two answered in the process, drop us a line at the new user log.

Thanks
[edit]Thanks for the barnstar. Nice to see you're still alive. lol. School ended for me last week so I'll have the next three weeks to focus on season 2 and season 3 of Smallville. I finally got the companion books in the mail so I'll read those and then start working on the article. I've been working on a new cast structure for the main page (you can see that here). Anyway, thanks again for the barnstar; hope to see you around some more. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 05:00, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have that one..lol. I didn't think to upload it to the page, though. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 06:37, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Not to ruin your fun or anything, but when I was over on Bignole's discussion page, I noticed the Supe's barnstar, and it crossed my mind that the Superman logo used on the star might be an iffy use of a copyrighted logo - the only reason I say this is, I am disallowed from displaying a sports logo on my own user page due to copyright or free use something or other (I honestly don't quite understand how it all works yet), and it struck me that the supes logo, being property of DC is in the same boat. Point of this post, basically, is to inquire as to whether or not it is a legitimate use of the logo as per wikipedia's rules, and if it is, I was hoping you could explain the difference between this logo and another organization's logo. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Smallvilleseason7promo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Smallvilleseason7promo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:16, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Nomination for merging of Template:Infobox television season
[edit]Template:Infobox television season has been nominated for merging with Template:Infobox television. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Thank you. The article Pasquale Hnos. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication here of sufficient notability to satisfy WP:NCORP
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:24, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
