Was in the process of adding citation
Dear Chamith,
Was in the process of adding a citation to back up some changes when you reverted it. Nargis has been participating in a lot of humanitarian work lately along with the prestigious One Young World which she was just featured in Vanity Fair for in which she's been advocating for women's rights and working for womens groups.
https://www.vanityfair.com/alist/photos/2018/04/one-young-world-bogota - vanity fair piece with Kofi Anan that came out earlier this week https://www.oneyoungworld.com/counsellors/nargis-fakhri - she is included in their counsellors section
In terms of age, she sat down with Shiffon Co and One Young world and in a speech transcription where she provided the age for the conference it was listed as thirty four hence the change. The other sites that list her age are based off gossip sites that were less credible. https://www.shiffonco.com/blogs/girl-gang-blog/cue-up-the-kleenex-nargis-fakhri-s-empowerment-speech-leaves-us-in-tears
Let me know what you think would like to work with you on the revised edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shannonk76 (talk • contribs) 07:08, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Shannonk76: I reverted it solely because it wasn't cited, and I wasn't aware that you were in the process of adding citations. So, I'm sorry if my reversion came across as hasty. Please feel free to go ahead re-add the content along with the sources you mentioned. Though, try not to use words like "prestigious" in the article as it sounds "flowery" and does not help to maintain a WP:NPOV. Also, make sure that the changes made to birth date are also supported by the source(s). Best, -- ChamithN (talk) 08:25, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for the feedback
Dear Chamith,
Thank you for the feedback and for the information on neutral POV. I agree, usage of flowery words is not good and will not be including that in it. As I am still getting acquainted with Wikipedia I was wondering if you could help me out in how the citations for websites can be added in the source code of a page and would they automatically be listed at the bottom of a page as well? And if for a single sentence there are two sources to cite how can they be added?
Thanks, Shannon — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shannonk76 (talk • contribs) 18:30, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Shannonk76: Hi, yes, they would be listed at the bottom under "References" automatically. I just noticed that you already have figured out how to cited references, so that's great. Feel free to ping me if there's anything else I can help you with. -- ChamithN (talk) 02:28, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Current citation for age.
Hi Chamith, I do not see a current citation for the age either. Should I put the citation beside it anyways? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shannonk76 (talk • contribs) 18:36, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't see why not. But, could you please point out which part of this article says she was born in 1983? Best, -- ChamithN (talk) 02:29, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
