Hi, Chaleur, Welcome to Wikipedia!
Hello, bonjour, salut, privyet, konichiwa, shalom, hola, salve, sala'am, bonjourno, and hi! I'm Sputnik. I noticed that you were new and/or have yet to receive any messages so I just thought I'd pop in to say "hello". We're glad to have you in our community! I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it's so big but we won't bite so Be Bold and get what you know down in microchips! If you do make a mistake, that's fine, we'll assume good faith and just correct you: it'll take a few seconds maximum! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful. If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you. Here are a few links to get you started:
And remember:
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.
  • P.S. I'm happy to help new users. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)

Happy Wiki-ing!

A point of information about Mayo

[edit]

Not the white stuff everyone uses and keeps a jar of in the refrig, heh. I was active in the Church at L.A. Calif. about the time he left the Church and had read, you know, a number of his Board Technical Bulletins, etc. and wanted to know more about what the issue was. While I can not point you to a reference, I asked around ASHO because I was taking a course. A document had been created by that time which spelled out the situation to staff members. Apparently Mayo was assigned to Qual, with a list of actions, just like anyone assigned to Qual. His included clearing the word Clear, which he refused to do. As I got it, that was the pivot point. He couldn't get out of Qual unless he did his list of actions and he refused to do that action. Which seem incredibly trivial to me, but was, as I understand it from word of mouth, incredibly important to him. So important that it led to him leaving the Church. As a note, you are free to remove this message or modify your page any way you wish with the exception that personal attack templates, if placed here, can not so easily be removed. happy ho ho's. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chytridiomycosis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kimberley (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:54, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
