Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Orphaned non-free image File:Girls x Heroine! Series Logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Girls x Heroine! Series Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:47, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
April 2019
[edit]Hello, I'm Lullabying. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Girls x Heroine! Series have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Please also take your time to read WP:ORIGINAL and WP:FAN, since I've had to edit out some of your edits for these reasons. lullabying (talk) 20:31, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Copy-edit reviews
[edit]Your recent edit on the page Reina Kubo inappropriately referred to a person by a first name or an honorific prefix, contrary to Wikipedia's Manual of Style regarding biographies. Normally, after the first mention of a subject's full name in the lead, the subject's first name should not normally be used again, except in special cases such as usage in quotations and titles, or as allowed by the Manual of Style. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you.
Please also take your time to read MOS:JAPAN; most of the edits I've had to change was to follow style guidelines. Thanks! lullabying (talk) 20:24, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, I noticed you've been working on the Girls x Heroine! Series articles and thank you for your contributions. However, you appear to keep adding information that is unsourced or borders on WP:FAN. Group articles should be kept strictly to activities as a group only. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. lullabying (talk) 16:01, 28 June 2019 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Girls2 Promotional Shoot.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Girls2 Promotional Shoot.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89 (T·C) 02:43, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
Girls2
[edit]Hey there, regarding Girls², there was a discussion on whether to include member colors seen here: Talk:Loona (group)#Animals and Colors. Please don't put them back into the article without discussing; this is the third time I've had to do this. lullabying (talk) 21:36, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- Please stop ignoring the warnings. Please don't add back birthdates and colors after there was a discussion/consensus on not keeping them. lullabying (talk) 22:09, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
Girls² members
[edit]Hey there, thanks for creating Yuzuha Oda, Misaki Tsuruya, and Youka Ogawa. Unfortunately, I had to redirect Yuzuha Oda and Youka Ogawa to Girls² because neither have notability outside of Girls². See WP:NMUSICBIO: "Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases."
I also suggest using secondary sources. Secondary sources are preferred over primary sources (EXPG is a primary source) due to bias that primary sources may have. Please read WP:PSTS for more info.
Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers. lullabying (talk) 18:58, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Lullabying: I totally understand but I created those 3 specifically because they had activities before. Misaki other than Girls2 but Youka and Yuzuha also because they had a lot of activities PRIOR to Girls2... Yuzuha was a member of popular idol group Amore Carina and Youka was a model in a variety of popular runways... it just doesn't seem right to only lead them to girls2, when they were known before their girls x heroine activities. It's hard to find sources other than EXPG because no other place talks about it other than blogs, and blogs are not exactly trust worthy. Also, sorry about the color coding from earlier, I just know a lot of people I talked to loved seeing it there because it's informative but if it shouldn't be there, I guess it can't be helped Chakiii (talk) 20:36, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, after reviewing Misaki Tsuruya I had to redirect her article too for the same reasons. Once she accrues recurring acting credits independent of her group (Jimoto ga Japan was not a recurring role; it was a one-time guest spot) you're free to remove the redirect.
- As for Yuzuha Oda, Amorecarina's popularity is a bit subjective. But regardless, her article should only focus on her solo activities, which she doesn't have. Famous doesn't necessarily mean notable, and Wikipedia only covers subjects that have been reported and covered in media. As for Youka Ogawa, there needs to be more articles besides EXPG that talk about her modeling activities (even better if she had earned an award prior to that!). But until then there is WP:NORUSH to make articles for them. If you do decide to remove the redirect, try creating a draft so I can help you with feedback, especially with grammar and templates. lullabying (talk) 20:45, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Lullabying:Cool, I understand, I did find other articles regarding her modeling career but would they suffice?[1][2] Anyway, if not, that's fine I guess.
- I did notice they have Japanese wikipedia pages, so why is it that they can't have an English one? Sorry, just curious. Chakiii (talk) 20:54, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- Watanabe Photo Studio seems like a good source for now (though I would attach Template:Better source to that). Once a bigger news media outlet like Model Press (they're a good one) or Oricon reports on the news, we can replace the source. I am concerned about Youka Ogawa satisfying WP:NMODEL though; she barely satisfies #1 and none of the other points. As for Japanese Wikipedia, I cannot speak for them, but most of their articles aren't sourced very well, unfortunately. lullabying (talk) 21:28, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Reliable + primary sources
[edit]Thanks for your contributions. I noticed you've been adding a lot of primary sources and unreliable sources. These sources need to be supported by secondary sources in order to establish notability, otherwise they will be removed. Please see WP:PSTS for more information. [edit]Speedy deletion nomination of File:Karin at WEEKEND TROOPER THE FINAL.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Karin at WEEKEND TROOPER THE FINAL.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. lullabying (talk) 06:28, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
