ENG 465 Check-In
[edit]Hi Christopher,
This is Sam, the TA from ENG 465! Prof. Hanley asked me to help get in touch with everyone this weekend to make sure the Wiki assignments are moving along smoothly.
Really good to see you've kept up-to-date with all those training modules and exercises! I know it can seem like a lot, but there's a lot of good information in them. It's also great to see you've chosen a topic, have been working on your bibliography, and on drafting in your sandbox!
However, I did have a meeting with Prof. Hanley a few days ago, and he expressed some worry that your chosen topic might not fit well enough into the course and/or be notable enough to work on for this class. I think your best option would be to contact him directly as soon as possible to explain why you think Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 is both notable (I do see that there already a lot of sources in the References section!) and relevant to our course.
If you do end up needing help coming up with a new topic, or want help finding high-quality sources to work with for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, let me know by replying here! I'll receive an email notification and get back to you as soon as I can. Or, if you prefer, you can contact me on Zoom during class too. I'd be happy to assist you any way I can. --Sjnickerson (talk) 04:29, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- HI Sam.
- After doing more research I think I found a topic that has far less references and is still applicable to the Post-Apocalyptic genre. The title of my topic is a manga called Psyren. I hope this fits the criteria and would like to know if it does
- Link to Psyren wikipedia page here

- Hi Chris,
- I'm sorry I hadn't responded to this before, I got a ton of notifications for awhile there whenever anything was edited on a Talk page from our class, even if it wasn't addressed to me. Sorry again for missing your message to me... but I do think Psyren will be an easier topic to work with!
- I also left you a message about your next steps for the project (mostly just revising based on feedback from your peer reviews) on your article draft Talk page. Like I said there, let me know if I can help you with anything. --Sjnickerson (talk) 06:10, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
