Welcome!

Hello, Chacha15, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Edge Telecom, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! noq (talk) 12:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Edge Telecom requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. noq (talk) 12:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article TV News has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I propose this article be erased because it does not seam like a very significant tv channel and does not warrant its own article. This channel has went off air in the past and come back and now there off air graphic has been updated again to say they have gone off air again. Also the article is completely unreferenced.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ruth-2013 (talk) 16:44, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

TV NEWS

[edit]

Thats the whole point, there is next to no references on the net for this former tv channel. Plus the fact it keeps coming and going off air made me believe it was not a significant channel. The reason for posting on the talk page about the proposed deletion was to give you some time to dispute the proposed deletion, as its been deleted now though its looks like you did not dispute it within the proposal time limit. If you have any further issues with this maybe an admin can help you although I am not 100% certain on that. (Ruth-2013 (talk) 14:31, 4 July 2011 (UTC))[reply]

The article Škoda Bigfoot has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:CRYSTAL. The vehicle doesn't exist yet, its name is not official, and no details have been announced.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Peter E. Cut and Paste move of Mazda Familia

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Mazda Familia a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Mazda 323. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Michael Greiner 05:31, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your move of Mazda Familia is against the title guidelines laid down by Wikipedia's Automotive Project, as can be seen here. Before attempting a move of such impact, I would recommend engaging other interested editors in conversation - either on the article talkpage or on the Project Automobiles Talkpage. Cheers,  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 08:05, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As regards the naming of articles, please FAMILIArize yourself with the guidelines. The Familia range was always sold as the Familia in Japan, while a number of different names were used in export markets. Therefore the article wil be titled "Mazda Familia", as there would otherwise be too many competing names such as GLC, 323, Protégé, and so on. Please respond here or at my talkpage before you make any more reverts.  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 16:13, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Eden Hazard, makes articles harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Image conventions

[edit]

The image with the blue Dacia Sandero (File:Dacia Sandero – Frontansicht, 10. April 2011, Ratingen.jpg) is shot into the sun and the shadow covers the visible part of the car, which is not in accordance with the WikiProject conventions regarding image quality. The photo with the red Dacia Sandero is more adequate for the article from this point of view and I ask you to agree we use that for the infobox. Thanks. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mini Hatch, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://globecars.org/mini-hatch.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. You removed two templates without reason. You fiddle around with the photos for no real reason. You keep using forced thumbnail sizes, even though I have told you not to do that several times already (here, here, and here for instance). Could you please stop? Just adding hundreds of photos to tons of articles is not really useful and is only going to make a lot of people very angry with you. Could you find some way to be useful instead, please?  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 15:20, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the Mini Clubman - I ahve already explained, time and time again, that there is zero need for galleries or pictures of rear and front views of every equipment level/market/facelift. The Commons link provides enough images for anyone interested in such minor details. I have made this clear to you several times already, yet, as with all of your numerous problems, you persist in repeating your mistakes for a while. Am I going to have to keep on explaining everything to you three or four times before you begin giving me some credit?  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 02:36, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Editing behavior

[edit]

I have noticed that, when your changes to an article are reverted, you are in habit of simply putting them back again. And again. And again. Please can you instead take your proposed changes to the article Talk page when they are reverted. Please can you also make an effort to use edit summaries. Thanks.Rangoon11 (talk) 19:24, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Mini (marque) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
